FOREST, Va.– Nanotouch® Materials, the leading provider of green, self-cleaning surfaces, today announces it is a recipient of the 2021 Vision Awards.

The Vision Awards honor innovation and excellence in products contributing to the efficient, profitable operations and management of institutional and commercial buildings in the United States. Nanotouch® Materials was recognized in the Interiors category for its revolutionary technology, which uses nanocrystals to transform dirty, high-traffic touchpoints into continuously self-cleaning surfaces.

“We’re honored to be recognized by the esteemed panel of facility executives judging this year’s awards,” said Dennis Hackemeyer, co-founder of Nanotouch. “Earning the stamp of approval from the judges that are experts in their own right validates the trust thousands of facility managers and others across the globe have put into our surfaces to create cleaner, safer environments for all.”

It is a timely win for the brand, as it has just hit the milestone of reaching 10 million touchpoints of its product worldwide.

The Vision Awards recognize products, systems and technologies in nine categories, plus two bonus categories. The nine main categories are: Exteriors; HVAC; Interiors; Life Safety & Security; Lighting; Power Generation, Distribution & Reliability; Plumbing & Restrooms; Analytics & Management Software; and Building Maintenance. The two bonus categories are: Re-opening and Smart Buildings.

NanoSeptic self-cleaning surfaces utilize technology, not toxins, to keep surfaces continuously clean. Mineral nanocrystals create a powerful oxidation reaction when interacting with light, which keeps NanoSeptic surfaces working 24/7.

Customers include 26 leading pharmaceutical companies, the Top-10 real estate service providers, each American professional sports league, 250 educational campuses, elite four- and five-star hotels, major financial institutions and all levels of government.
